That boulder isn't bluffing, so the first thing you need to drill into your head is: never backtrack for a skull you missed. Seriously, just let it go. The cave rewards forward momentum way more than perfectionism, and plenty of players lose runs early because they turn around for one shiny piece and get flattened. Learn the trap timing on each level before you commit to a sprint — most of the spikes, pits, and swinging hazards follow a rhythm, and once you clock it, you can move through a room almost on autopilot. Watch the corners too, since a lot of the nastier surprises sit just out of frame until the camera catches up. Pace yourself on the early levels even though they feel easy; they're basically teaching you the visual language the later, faster stages rely on.

The setup is simple on paper: you're guiding an artifact hunter through an old cave system on the hunt for eight gold skulls, spread across eight stages that get meaner as you go. Every level ramps up the trap density a notch, and that rolling boulder chasing from behind means there's rarely a moment to just stand around and admire the scenery, however good it looks. Sound design does a lot of quiet work here too, cluing you into danger a beat before it's on screen.

Control Scheme

Everything runs off the mouse, which keeps things approachable even if the platforming gets tense. You click and guide your character along the path, following the on-screen prompts that walk you through each new mechanic as it shows up, so there's no need to memorize a big control list before diving in. It's a light touch system, but timing your clicks around the traps is where the actual skill shows up.
